tantra
This process involves opening the breath, restoring fluidity in the fascia, relaxing the diaphragm, the pericardium, and the pelvic area, and becoming aware of how you relate to your body and the beliefs that may be limiting your vitality and enjoyment of life.
Tantric practices also include emotional and sexual healing. Health is restored when we release the past and surrender to the living reality of the present moment. Tantric massage is intended to help you remember the body as a joyful flow of vital energy. A Tantric massage is not an erotic massage with a “happy ending”; it is an act of deep love and meditation that reunifies the body and teaches you how to recognise and expand your vital, sexual, emotional, creative, and blissful energy in a natural, free, and responsible way.
Because we tend to think ourselves rather than feel ourselves, we often live in a fragmented body. Tantra views the body as a unified whole. Every part of the body is considered sacred, including the breasts and genitals. Each part expresses vital energy in its own unique way, yet all are honoured and invited back into awareness beyond the judgements and moral conditioning that may have obscured them.
This is a simple and complex process at the same time, as we release the body from painful memories and limiting judgements so that vital energy may once again flow freely from the sexual centre to the heart, and from the heart to the mind. In this sense, it can be described as a holistic meditative massage that includes all parts of the body and teaches you how to breathe into each area, releasing the energy held within.
For perhaps the first time, you may learn, free from judgement or shame, how to reclaim your sexual, sensual, loving, and ecstatic energy without projecting it onto an object of desire, but by taking full responsibility for it yourself. This brings freedom and allows you to recover the self-love needed before sharing yourself with others.
In this way, we approach the body with genuine innocence and naturalness, free from comparison and judgement, allowing it to exist in its own comfort, fluidity, and freedom. Attention is gently shifted from the mind to the living experience of the body: What am I feeling right now?
Together, we explore the thoughts and beliefs that block the body and its vital energy. We question them and release their emotional charge, creating space for new experiences to be anchored in the body: experiences of flow, pleasure, strength, joy, celebration, sensuality, love, and trust. At the same time, we provide a safe and supportive environment in which to discover that even painful or frightening experiences can be met and moved through, and that your consciousness is capable of holding it all.
As awareness of the body’s capacity for pleasure, sensitivity, and subtle perception expands, we inevitably encounter shame, modesty, fear, and mistrust. By listening deeply and exploring our relationship with sexual energy, joy, and pleasure, we come face to face with our energetic habits, limiting beliefs, moral conditioning, and inherited assumptions.
Healing goes beyond physical contact or therapeutic technique alone. Healing requires love, wisdom, relaxation, and deep trust. Sometimes healing can happen in a single moment, through a profound insight and a complete surrender to what is. Such surrender requires trust and relaxation, qualities that arise naturally in the presence of the love that exists within all things.
*IMPORTANT NOTICE*
You will be treated with absolute love and respect and gently accompanied through your inner landscape. The facilitator serves as a guide. Their role is not to fulfil momentary desires, but to support the process they consider most beneficial according to the genuine needs of your being.
You will be guided and offered practical tools to help direct your energy from the sexual centre to the heart, and from there throughout your whole being. The facilitator will teach you how to meditate within the body as a sacred temple and how to channel your sexual, emotional, and spiritual energy so that you may recognise the fullness of your embodied nature and embrace all aspects of yourself.
Again and again, the facilitator will gently return your attention to yourself, encouraging you to become the owner of your own energy rather than projecting it onto them.
There is no sexual contact between the facilitator and the recipient.
