The gathering
There is a profound difference between feeling aroused and feeling fulfilled.
We can experience desire, pleasure, intensity, even orgasm, and yet be left with a sense of emptiness, restlessness or needing more.
And we can also experience sexuality in another way.
A sexuality that does not end in release, but opens us.
That leaves us not hungrier, but more fulfilled.
That does not separate the body from the heart.
Many tantric traditions share an essential understanding: sexual energy needs to meet the heart in order to expand and nourish us deeply.
When Eros and the heart remain separate, sexuality can easily become a search, an act of consumption, possession or release.
When sexual energy can flow through the heart, something changes.
Desire can become intimacy.
Arousal can become openness.
Pleasure can become connection.
Two gatherings, one journey

And meeting can become an experience of presence and love.
Through the lens of Tantra
This weekend, we will explore the place where Eros and the heart meet.
We will return to the body to recognise how we experience our sexual energy, where we hold it back, where we disconnect it from our feelings, and what happens when we allow our bodily and emotional experience to become part of one reality again.
Because the body is not divided.
But often we are.
We think one thing.
Feel another.
Desire something else.
And we learn to experience sexuality separately from love, pleasure separately from intimacy, and the body separately from the heart.
Tantra offers us another possibility:
integration.
The heart as a space for expansion
Through bioenergetics, Alexander Lowen explored in depth the relationship between the body, sexuality, feeling and the heart. For Lowen, disconnection between the sexual part of the body and the capacity to feel could profoundly limit the experience of pleasure, love and surrender. His work paid particular attention to restoring the connection between the head, heart and pelvis.
From the tantric perspective, this integration opens another dimension.
The energy that arises in the body can expand.
Pleasure can cease to be merely a localised sensation and become an experience of wholeness.
And then perhaps we discover that true joy is not simply about feeling more, but about being able to feel more deeply.
What we will explore
Meeting another human being can become a practice of awareness.
Being present with another human being.
Returning to the body and to experience.
Touching and allowing ourselves to be touched with presence.
Making room for what happens when we meet.
Opening space for feeling and tenderness.
Moving closer without intruding; surrendering without abandoning ourselves.
Integrating desire, pleasure and heart
Feeling desire without having to turn it immediately into action.
Opening ourselves to pleasure without losing ourselves in it.
Allowing arousal to awaken the body while opening space for feeling, tenderness and connection.
Learning to receive and to give.
To move closer without intruding.
To surrender without abandoning ourselves.
A wider dimension
To touch and allow ourselves to be touched from a place where body and heart are both present in the encounter.
To be present enough to discover what happens when we stop using the other to fulfil a need and begin to truly meet.
Because perhaps the question is not:
How much pleasure can I get?
But:
How much life, how much love and how much awareness can I allow to flow through my body?
The invitation
An invitation to discover that Eros does not have to exhaust us.
This will be a space to explore sexuality in a wider dimension: not only as pleasure, but as a way of connecting with ourselves, with another and with life.
It can open us.
It can soften us.
It can connect us.
It can take us from the body to the heart.
And from the heart to a fuller experience of being alive.

My search brought me to Tantra at the age of 18, when, while studying philosophy and Oriental studies, I came across a book by the mystic Osho and left everything to be close to this master, who taught me to die and yet to be blissfully alive, enjoying life in all its expressions.
Alongside his talks, I had the opportunity to take part in therapy and Tantra groups for eight years, where the work was entirely experiential and understanding was integrated on a physical, emotional and mental level, all of it crowned by meditation.
Gestalt, bioenergetics, breathwork, Ericksonian hypnosis, NLP, Tantra, meditations from many mystical traditions, Jungian work, sex therapy and more were techniques I learned to create the space I want to share: the mind’s absolute presence in the here and now, the relaxation of the heart and trust in what Is.
