True Intimacy
From contract to connection
The challenge of a new era: growing in love, intimacy and truth.
A retreat with Astiko
Body · Presence · Intimacy · Awareness
A new cycle
We are living through a time of profound transformation in the way we relate to ourselves, our bodies, sexuality and others.
According to the teachings of Ra Uru Hu and Human Design, a new evolutionary cycle begins in 2027: the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix, associated with a shift from collective structures, dependency and tribal agreements towards greater individuality, autonomy, presence and awareness.
Whether or not we believe in this vision, we can use it as a doorway to exploration.
How do I want to meet you
while remaining true to myself?
Individuality as the foundation of intimacy
Individuality means staying connected to ourselves while opening to a relationship with another.
Love, freedom and commitment
For centuries, love, sexuality, partnership, family and security have been deeply intertwined.
We have learnt to relate through explicit and implicit contracts:
“I give to you and you give to me.”
“I protect you and you belong to me.”
“We are a couple, therefore…”
But what happens when we begin to question these structures? This retreat invites us to explore a different possibility.
It is not about rejecting partnership, monogamy, family or commitment.
It is about being able to choose them from a more conscious place.
Intimacy and consent
When we stop needing the other to fill our emptiness and give us the presence and attention that only we can give ourselves, we can begin to discover a different kind of intimacy.
An intimacy with room to listen and express:
Now · Not yet
Listening to and expressing what we feel.
Consent, in this context, is not simply a rule. It is a practice of deep listening.
What we will explore
One of the central invitations of this retreat is to return to the body. We will learn to recognise its signals, its movements of expansion and contraction, its impulses, its boundaries and its capacity to receive.
Sensitivity and perception
Expansion and contraction
Listening to desire
Passion and tenderness
Conscious touch

Sexuality as a doorway to awareness
In Tantra, sexuality can become a path of presence.
The body ceases to be an object we use to obtain pleasure and becomes a landscape we learn to listen to and feel.
Desire ceases to be something we have to satisfy automatically.
And a sexual encounter can become an opportunity to experience a meditative state that opens us to:
presence · sensitivity · listening · openness · energy · pleasure · vulnerability · connection · heart
Two essential movements
It is not about choosing one over the other.
We will explore two essential movements within our experience.
PASSION
Life force, desire, intensity, fire and expansion.
TENDERNESS
Sensitivity, receptivity, presence, vulnerability and heart.
It is about learning to recognise how they relate to one another, when we expand, when we contract and what happens when we try to remain in an experience our body no longer wants.
The Phoenix
What remains when we let go of everything we thought a relationship had to be?
A relationship can become something fixed, held within a closed framework.
Relating is a living, fluid and open process.
An invitation to leave behind old ways that may no longer serve us:
the fear of being alone · the need to be chosen · possessiveness · dependency · the obligation to fulfil a role · confusing love with sacrifice · seeking security through another.
A space for exploration
This is not a course for learning a new formula for relationships. Nor does it propose a single right way to experience sexuality.
It is a space to explore our own relationship with the body, desire, love and intimacy.
Whether or not we believe in this vision, we can use it as a doorway to exploration.
Returning to the body and learning to recognise its signals, impulses, boundaries and capacity to receive.
Consent is a practice of deep listening.
Being able to choose love, partnership and commitment from a more conscious place.
