TANTRA FOR ALL | The Root and the Flower: Your body is your temple

To live is to pulse, to vibrate, to flow, to breathe, living is more than throwing yourself into the river; it’s to be the river itself that flows into the sea.

What you call “I” is a flow of energy whose origin lies in the infinite field of consciousness and emerges whimsically to define and know itself in space-time as an exquisite and individualized form, like a unique work of art with a unique experience.

The framework for that life is often a series of beliefs imposed by society that limit ecstatic potential and restrict the flow of energy to mere survival levels, when in fact it can be known, joyfully and ecstatically, in both pain and joy. Bliss does not depend on where you are in the duality, whether the sun is shining or it’s cloudy. Bliss is vast and embraces everything.

It is absolutely necessary that you root yourself in your body as the temple of your being so that you can bloom as an individual in this life experience.

When the mind separates from the body and the heart, in other words, when your attention wanders with the mind and you forget to feel the sensations of the body and the feelings of the heart, you forget the truth you embody.

The happiness we sometimes long for, the coherence with our heart, returns when we learn to focus our attention on the present. The seat of your present, from which you access bliss (Ananda), is your body.

All your experiences are imprinted in this beautiful temple of your being.
The tantric path leads you to be natural, to remember that you are nature, that you can trust your body, because your body is shaped by the infinite wisdom that shapes all existence.

In these days, we will place special emphasis on rooting yourself in your body, on feeling it, breathing it, freeing it from judgment and comparison, perceiving it as vibrant energy, restoring its sensuality, its capacity to express everything that moves through it—pain, pleasure, movement, change, flow, silence, joy…

Sometimes we are afraid to share ourselves because we fear we won’t be able to listen to the truth of what we feel. And so, either we overdo it and stop feeling, dissociating in favor of what the mind says and what we believe others expect from us, or we fall short, left with the yearning to share that lingers just under the skin, accompanied by a sense of abandonment.

That is why it is essential to learn to listen to it, to feel its yes and its no, to respect your rhythms and the truth of what you feel in order to share yourself authentically.

Astiko

My search led me to tantra at the age of 18 when, while studying philosophy and oriental studies, I came across a book by the mystic Osho and left everything behind to be close to that master who taught me how to die, yet still be blissfully alive, enjoying life in all its expressions.

In addition to her talks, I had the opportunity to participate for eight years in therapy and tantra groups where the work was purely experimental and the knowledge was integrated on a physical, emotional, and mental level, all crowned by meditation. Gestalt, bioenergetics, breathwork, Ericksonian hypnosis, PNL, tantra, meditations from multiple mystical currents, Jungian work, sex therapy, etc. were all techniques I learned to create the space I want to share: the absolute presence of the mind in the here and now, the relaxation of the heart, and trust in what Is.
